Effective April 01, 2009, free baggage allowance on economy class on flights which piece system apply to free baggage allowance shall be amended from 32 kg (70 lbs.) to 23 kg (50 lbs.). Checked baggage that does not exceed 32 kg (70 lbs.) per piece can be accepted continuously. But if each piece exceed 23 kg (50 lbs.) but no more than 32 kg (70 lbs.), an extra charge of JPY5,000 or USD50.00 will be applied per piece.
