A Grade II Historic Building, this stony hut has been here for over a century and was once a resting shelter for sedan chairs and their carriers, when residents of The Peak took sedan chair rides back home after reaching here by the Peak Tram. |

● Lugard Road |
Lugard Road near The Peak Tower is named after Hong Kong’s 14th Governor, Sir Frederick Lugard. Some sections consist of century-old ‘plank roads’ — narrow cliff-side paths that transverse the mountainside of Victoria Peak. There are a number of vantage points and lookouts along this lofty pathway that offer a spectacular view of Victoria Harbour. |
